Tournament Highlights

The Champions’ Series is offered in various locations and dates in Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania

Maryland and Central / Western PA Dates Include:

• Crabtown Crackdown Champions Series – April 20-21 in Central Maryland
• Black Eyed Susan Champions Series – May 18-19 in Central Maryland
• Armed Forces Salute Champions Series – May 18-19 in Greensburg, PA

This series is specifically designed for 10U-14U “A” level teams. USSSA is collaborating across state lines to offer “A” level events in locations throughout the region this season. “A” teams from throughout the region are being encouraged to sign up for these regional events to take advantage of playing top competition. The winning teams in these events will receive paid berths to the USSSA World Fastpitch Championships, which are being held July 8-13 at the Adventure Sports and Entertainment Complex in Jackson, NJ. Partial Paid Berth to 2024 Eastern Nationals in Ocean City / Salisbury, MD

• Mother’s Day “B” Qualifier || May 11-12, 2024 || Indiana, PA

These events are for 10B, 12B, and 14B teams and will only offer winners a partially paid berth to the 2024 Eastern National Championships in Ocean City / Salisbury, MD, in July.  In addition to our premier awards package for the event, the winner of any division that has 6 or more teams registered and plays in it will receive a rebate of $500 for the 2024 Eastern National Championships.  To redeem, the winning team must register and participate in the 2024 Eastern National Championships.  Upon check-in, the team will be issued a check for the rebate.

Paid berth to the USSSA Space Coast World Series

Maryland Coast Clash || April 27-28, 2024 || Berlin MD

Make your way to Maryland’s Coast in Worcester County to compete for a trip to Florida’s Space Coast!  Winning teams in this event will receive a paid berth to the USSSA Space Coast World Series, June 23-28, 2024.  For more information on the Space Coast World Series, please visit https://spacecoastws.usssa.com

Indiana County Summer Showcase || June 8-9, 2024 || Indiana, PA

This event offers teams a great way for players to gain college exposure, including on the field time with college coaches as part of the optional Friday afternoon clinic. And unlike most showcase events, the tournament is priced in line with standard weekend tournaments. This long-standing event annually has more than 15 Division I, II, III, and Junior Colleges attend, and many of those coaches are involved in the Friday clinic. The Friday clinic is an individual event that requires separate individual registration and has limited capacity. Ocean City Blast at the Beach || June 14-16, 2024 || Ocean City, MD

Looking for a great challenge to get your team ready for upcoming national events?  Want to see a wide variety of competition from all over the northeast region?  Are you looking to take advantage of the start of summer at the beach to bond as a team and celebrate Father’s Day?  This is the tournament for you!  For more than 25 years, this tournament has attracted a wide variety of teams from 5 or more states and all levels of play.  Your team will be tested.  Every game counts.  All teams play 4 pool before the top 40% are seeded into bracket play.

• June 1-2 Annual Mount Nittany Challenge (double points)
• June 15-16 – Happy Valley Fathers’ Day Hitfest

Happy Valley comes alive with softball three times this season!  Enjoy great team bonding opportunities in State College, PA, home of Penn State University.  The college campus and wonderful downtown area are just minutes away from the fields, and there are plenty of affordable hotels and things to do, see, eat, and drink.  And if you are a Penn State Alumni, what would be better than watching your daughter compete on the softball field while having a visit back “home” on the same weekend?!

Super NIT events offer teams 6X points!  Playing in these events will propel your team in the points standings and help your team’s seeding for state and national championships as well as improve your position in the annual USSSA Race for the Rings Points Race.

This event is held in 3 convenient locations – Central PA, Central MD, and Central DE.  Register for one of these events and let your team’s competitiveness and creativity shine in this unique event!  Teams shine on the field and off in softball and with their TikTok skills.  In addition to the weekend tournament, teams will have the opportunity to submit TikTok videos to try to win prizes in 3 categories – Most Creative, Funniest and Most Patriotic.
