Registration is now open for a one of a kind tournament experience taking place April 7 & 8, 2018 at the newly expanded Henry Parker Athletic Complex in Salisbury, Maryland.
The Ultimate Fastpitch Experience is a tournament series that pairs professional fastpitch players with youth fastpitch tournaments. These events take on the brand, identity and personality of the professional player and include social meet and greets, player appearances during the tournament and opportunities for teams to participate in fundraising for a charity that is near and dear to the professional player’s heart.
Andrea Duran played her college career at UCLA where she was an All-American and two-time NCAA National Champion. She is an Olympic Silver Medalist and has played 8 seasons in the NPF with the USSSA Pride. In her time in the NPF, she has been an All-NPF Player four times and the Mizuno Player of the year in 2014.
The charity that Andrea has chosen to align with this event is the Natasha Watley Foundation (NWF). The NWF was founded by two-time Olympic medalist Natasha Watley to create opportunities for girls in under-served communities to learn and play the game of softball. The NWF uses the medium of sport to inspire young women to reach their full potential while fostering character development and awareness of social issues that affect women. More information is available on the Foundation HERE.
This great event will be one of the first of the season at the newly expanded Parker Complex in Salisbury, MD. This already award-winning complex has added 4 artificial turf fields and a host of other amenities that will make it the perfect location for this EXPERIENCE!
