Pasadena, MD – USSSA East has launched a partnership with Mid-Atlantic based Turn 2 Sports to give fastpitch softball teams in the region a resource for equipment, specialized training, photography and much more. “We believe that our partnership with Turn 2 Sports will give players and teams in our program yet another resource to improve and raise the bar on fastpitch in the region. We appreciate the passion that these ladies have for the game and know that they will be able to help many of our teams in a variety of ways,” commented Bill Dowell, Maryland and Delaware USSSA State Director.
Turn 2 Sports was founded by Renee Ferguson and Linda McGinnis, who collectively have more than 50 years of fastpitch experience in playing and coaching from High School to Division I. Renee Ferguson believes that “our holistic approach to the game helps players improve their physical ability, mental focus and overall understanding of the game to be better prepared to succeed in softball as well as other areas of life.”
Teams may already be familiar with the staff from Turn 2 Sports, as they have been set up at various USSSA East events in 2016 and thus far in 2017. One can’t help but notice the variety and quality of equipment and training aids that Turn 2 Sports can make available to teams. “We pride ourselves on staying on the cutting edge of softball equipment technology and training theory. Whether you need a specific item or just have a question, we work to be a resource for teams in the ever-changing softball marketplace,” comments Linda McGinnis.
This partnership will surely enhance the already comprehensive USSSA fastpitch program in Maryland and Delaware by adding to the resources that are available to teams. Teams should keep an eye out for the Turn 2 Sports tent, coming to their park and go introduce themselves and see how Turn 2 Sports can help them!
