2022 Del-Mar-Va Tri-State Games
The Del-Mar-Va Tri-State Games will be held Saturday, August 6th, 2022 at the Brambleton Sportsplex, located in Ashburn, VA. The rain date is Sunday, August 7th, 2022.
The Tri-State Games will showcase players who have been nominated throughout the season at participating Tri-State Games qualifiers. Players will be nominated for displaying great overall effort and tournament performance throughout the season as well as displaying great sportsmanship. Only players from the states of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia will be eligible for the Tri-State Games.
This celebration of softball and the best and brightest players and teammates in the Mid-Atlantic Region is much more than just on field games. Off field entertainment is also being lined up for the event and may include face painting, a DJ, moon bounces, jugglers and other festival-like features.
Players will be placed on balanced teams with other players from all three states that represent teams of each classification level. Each team will play two exhibition games against teams from the same age group.
DEL-MAR-VA USSSA TRI-STATE GAMES EVENT INFORMATION:
- Saturday, August 6th, 2022 at the Brambleton Sportsplex in Ashburn, VA (rain date is Sunday, August 7th, 2022).
- Roster batting is mandatory.
- Catchers bring your own catching gear.
- All game balls will be provided.
- All Players will be provided a playing jersey.
- Games will be regulation 90 minutes in length. Once time has expired, we will finish the inning. No score will be kept.
- This event was created to be a fun, non-competitive showcase of players participating with other players from other teams. Poor sportsmanship of any kind will NOT be tolerated.
- All State Coaches will contact each of their players prior to the event on August 7th regarding any potential practices, meeting times, etc.
- Each player will wear a Tri-State Games team jersey. Players provide their own pants.

TRI-STATE GAMES COACHING STAFF
Coaching staff selections will be announced after the State Tournament. If you have someone who you think is worthy of being recommended for the Tri-State Coaching Staff, please send recommendations to [email protected]. Coaches who are selected to coach in the Tri-State Games will receive a commemorative gift, courtesy of USSSA East.
